Dawn has been in the publishing industry for over 20 years and most recently (6 years) created a startup subscription agent monitoring business, Subscription Integrity Services, LLC. after 15 years with Special Data Processing/National Publishers Exchange. Dawn's entrepreneurial spirit and understanding of the needs of publishers drove her to create a subscription agent monitoring business that has been and continues to be a success for her clients and magazine clearing houses. This dedication alone shows Dawn's commitment to publishers to provide quality subscribers through managing subscription agents.
Dawn's prior publishing experience was a devotion of 15 years to acquisition, management and new business development of over 1,000 subscription agents at National Publishers Exchange. She left SDP/NPE as the VP/GM of Publisher Relations and Agency Relations.
Her most recent accomplishment is founding/creating Priority One Clearing Services, Inc. A well respected and growing magazine clearing house. Dawn began working on P-1 in July of 2008 and started processing agent orders in October of 2008. P-1 continues to expand its efforts and has become a premier subscription agency in the industry.
Dawn's residence is in Clearwater, FL but spends some of her time in Colorado. She found a love for mountain biking, skiing and hiking in Colorado while the P-1 office was located there and it has been hard for Dawn to give up.
Dawn has one son, JC who is a Mercer University graduate and helped to launch Priority One. He also moved to Florida when the company moved.
When not traveling for business Dawn enjoys boating, fishing, mountain biking, snow skiing, golf and catching up with her family. She is also a huge fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Rays.........although Colorado tried to convert her to a Bronco and Rockies fan..........(ok she became a fan but not a fanatic)
India is from Philadelphia and attended Germantown Friends School which provided a strong foundation in holistic thinking and problem solving. She went on to graduate with a degree in French and Comparative Literature from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. India continued her education at Stanford University receiving her Masters Degree in Education. She utilized her degree and taught high school in Pennsylvania only to realize her calling was the great outdoors of Colorado. Along with her friends, India moved to Colorado in 1993 and later worked for a magazine company in an operational capacity. India joined the Priority One team in November of 2008 as the Director of Operations/Fulfillment and has been our foundation to operations.
India's passion is her art which she shares generously with her friends and her enjoyment comes from anything related to Disney. We ask her to check her Mickey Mouse ears daily at the office door!
JC has been with the Priority One Team since inception as the Publisher & Agency Relations Coordinator. JC is a graduate of Mercer University where he majored in History and minored in Political Science. JC interned through the summer with Subscription Integrity Services and attended publisher meetings and the XYZ conference. In addition to the publisher exposure he also attended a National Field Selling Association Conference in Chicago in order to better understand the Magazine Subscription Agent side of the business. It was during this internship that he realized he would like to venture into the magazine industry and learn more about the subscription agent business. It has been a natural fit for JC to be a part of the Colorado office.
JC is a sports enthusiast who played Division 1 baseball at Mercer University and continues to enjoy fishing, snowboarding, dirt bike riding and just being outdoors. When JC isn't participating in these activities he is busy needling his Mother at the office! Priority One is appreciating the fruits of JC's labor and glad to have him as a part of team.
Celeste was just welcomed to the P-1 team in June 2010. She moved to the Florida area from Pittsburgh in 1994 but maintained her “Steeler Fan” status. Celeste worked for 13 years in the publishing industry for Special Data Processing/NPE beginning as a Data Entry Clerk and worked her way up the corporate ladder to Operations Manager in magazine subscription processing. Celeste recently took some time off from the corporate world to enjoy her family life, with her husband DJ and two sons Djay and Sean who keep her very busy. She is now very motivated and eager to get back in the industry and reconnect with some old friends, meet some new ones and learn all the new and innovated things happening in the industry today.
On evenings and weekends you will usually find Celeste at one of the many different baseball fields in the Tampa Bay area watching one of her boys play baseball, catching up with her husband after he coaches or at the beach enjoying the sun and water.
We are overjoyed to have an industry professional added to the P-1 Team!
Justin joined the Priority One team in November of 2010 and is eager to keep the financial data organized and analyzed as P-1 continues to grow. Originally from New Orleans, Justin moved to Tampa with his girlfriend, now fiancée, 3 years ago from North Carolina. Justin has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and his Masters Degree in Accounting from the University of Tampa. Justin has over 3 years of public accounting experience and plans to complete the CPA exam in 2011. In June of 2010, Justin started his own company, J. Rosen Financial Data Services Inc., helping small businesses organize, secure, and analyze financial data to enhance their business decisions. His company also helps clients make their accounting tasks more efficient and strengthen their internal controls. Justin spends his leisure time learning the great game of golf and rooting for the Saints and Tar Heels. He also enjoys cooking southern meals and traveling with his fiancée.
Claudia began working with Priority One in July 2011. Prior to her employment with P-1 she was working as an administrative assistant for a nonprofit organization in West Palm Beach but then moved to the Tampa Bay area after husband received a job for the City of Tampa as a fire fighter. Claudia’s skills as a customer service representative for Priority One have been key to assisting our agents and customers while resolving their situations. The administrative knowledge and organizational skills she brings to P-1 have been extremely helpful within the office.
Claudia is a native Floridian and was born and also raised in West Palm Beach. Claudia’s love for the outdoors is matched with her love for dogs, especially American Pit-bull Terriers, which she and her husband own. They enjoy spending time camping, going to the beach, traveling and playing soccer. They are avid Miami Dolphin fans and University of Miami sports fans but if Claudia remains in the Tampa Bay Area long enough she may have to give the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a chance!
Since writing his first application at age 15 for controlling inventory for a local restaurant, Jamie has been involved in software development in one capacity or another. After joining the Air Force, he was called upon to fix computers or write applications to help the companies he worked for, even though he was not in an I.T. role. He got his first job out of the Air Force because he had ‘Computer Programming’ listed as a hobby on his resume, the job was for a Q.C. inspector, but the manager also wanted several programs written, so he was hired. Jamie soon became a Q.C. supervisor and then crossed over into the engineering department. From there his career continued to spiral deeper into the realm of a Software Developer and several years later he actually landed an official Software Developer job. Jamie has been an “official” software developer for 18 years now, but has been writing software for almost 30.
When I’m not at work you can find me in the garage working on either my homemade CNC machine, or building a Reprap 3D Printer, maybe casting aluminum or metalworking, or I might be playing with my band. And
if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on, you’ll find me in front of the TV watching the game!
